2022 is a bear market that will make history. Many readings from sentiment, macro (Fed policy) to bond price action. There is no easy way to say this, it is hard and uncharted.
For those who have followed my News Letters or Twitter for quite some time know that I religiously look back to history for the answers. In 2022, there are no examples of history and all options are on the table when it comes to “what comes next”.
Let me admit, that this is hard regardless of who you are. Or, your experience. This is a historical bear market.
We have we never seen a time period where 25%+ of all money in circulation was printed in ONE YEAR, followed by the fastest and most aggressive tightening cycle in history?
There are so many variables that it’s nearly impossible to attribute all of them.
The Point I am Trying to Make
I have had about 3-5 BluSuit members and a few dozen Twitter followers reach out to me today, alone.
I am always humbled by your out reach.
The common theme is, “what do I do?”
I will tell you what to do
You need to set your time horizon and stick to it.
If you are short term, that’s ok, follow trends and technicals.
If you are an investor, make sure not to become a trader. Focus on your businesses. Exploit the opportunity.
Everything Comes to an End
This cycle, just like the next, will end. BUT, during this time, the cycle will test you.
Everything in this world worth having is worth a price. The price here, today, is volatility and uncertainty.
I Will Continue My Strategy. 2022 Year of Accumulation.
Stay tuned, stay classy
Dillon
Well said, just think timeline is too early to start accumulating as I shared multiple times before, some growth stocks seem relatively strong such as DDOG and BILL so there will be bulls in a bear market but I think almost every company will be affected by what’s coming and I’ll be buying more heavy once the panic and capitulation arrives. Usually when Barron’s has some apocalyptic cover page, oh I wish I hedged ARKK when Cathy was on the cover page and Tesla when Elon was on the cover page, it was close to peak 😂
Keep up with the optimistic and what can be done and planned for 👍
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, ideas and advice. I, due to lack of experience, decided to wait with the money and watch. It is interesting to see what will happen if the Fed does the same as the Bank of England )))
